Develop a software solution that combines AI with behavioral analytics to look for patterns of suspicious activity, identifying fake accounts, fake reviews, fake content, bad actors, counterfeit, unauthorized selling, spam, and scams.
Glazed has played a pivotal role in strengthening Pasabi’s platform integrity and security, enabling a reliable and scalable fraud detection ecosystem. Through a collaborative partnership, Glazed has empowered Pasabi to address critical challenges in digital trust and fraud prevention, focusing on user safety and platform dependability. Beyond this, Glazed was also a key factor in Pasabi’s resourcing strategy, not only by establishing and continuously refining the hiring process but also working as a liaison for candidate’s within the Porto Metropolitan Area.
• Led the migration of Pasabi’s core database from MongoDB to PostgreSQL, implementing schema adjustments to enhance data integrity, scalability, and performance, by adapting and upgrading the schema which resulted in improvements in data integrity, scalability and performance. • Optimized Pasabi’s deployment infrastructure with Terraform, enabling multi-cloud compatibility across AWS and GCP. • Enhanced the platform’s fraud detection accuracy by building a cache layer for third-party services and implementing scoring capabilities for IP addresses, phone numbers, and emails. • Integrated Single Sign-On (SSO) with SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0, strengthening authentication security for both internal and external services.
• Unified the codebase into a monorepo structure, optimizing development workflows and streamlining code management for team collaboration. • Developed a reusable UI component library, ensuring a consistent user interface across all Pasabi products. • Established CI pipelines using GitHub Actions to improve build, test, and deployment processes, alongside Terraform to streamline infrastructure provisioning. • Migrated all infrastructure components to AWS, achieving compatibility and passing AWS’s Foundation Technical Review. • Developed extensible infrastructure and application configurations to cater to on-premise deployment scenarios with heavy customisation from a singular codebase.
